On August 10th, 2022, the Australian Ambassador to Cambodia, Mr Pablo Kang, visited our new Cambodia Rural Students Trust (CRST) Campus. The Ambassador was warmly welcomed by our Senior Leadership team members and our co-founders, Jess and Michelle, as well as our scholarship recipients.
The Ambassador’s visit was preceded by a tour of the CRST campus, including the administrative room, the Leadership Team room, our canteen for high school meals, the Project G room, library, and different classrooms. Ambassador Kang also took the opportunity to interact with some of CRST’s university scholarship recipients. He opened up to questions so our students could ask him their interesting questions, then he went to listen to the CRST NGO organization presentation and finally had a look at our scholarship recipients-led project exhibitions.
The visit of Ambassador Kang was a great opportunity for CRST’s students to learn more about the relationship between Cambodia and Australia as well as opportunities for students in Australia through the Australia Awards Cambodia It was also an opportunity for CRST to build a strong positive relationship with the Australian Embassy in Cambodia
