The way to solve this issue sustainably is through:
A curriculum of 8 lesson, taught over 4 months reaching 15,000 rural high school students in 2020, and another 25,000 rural students in 2021, to become single-use plastic-free with ‘refuse, reduce, reuse, recycle’ message.
recycling bins will be installed at 50 schools and universities.
students will be provided with refillable drinking bottles.
students will be provided with reusable cotton bags.
Appoint Environment Ambassadors in every school we teach to reinforce plastic education and inspire ongoing action.
Bring environmental education to families and villagers through the students we teach.
Award plastic-free villages with Official Certificate of Recognition from the Ministry of Environment and Provincial Government.
Project R has been approved by the government.
We have formal support and cooperation from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and Ministry of Environment.
