UN Sustainable Development Goals

The UN has set 17 Goals for Sustainable Development and we are ticking ALL – REPEAT, ALL of them!!! 


The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate, environmental degradation, prosperity, and peace and justice. The Goals interconnect and in order to leave no one behind, it's important that we achieve each Goal and target by 2030. See below on how we are reaching each Goal in a specific way and learn more about each issue on the UN website -




GOAL 1: No Poverty – Breaking the poverty cycle through education


GOAL 2: Zero Hunger – 3 meals a day for High School students, Nutritionist workshops, and providing Food Supplies to families in the countryside


GOAL 3: Good Health and Well-being – Healthcare, dental care, social worker and 10ME Program


GOAL 4: Quality Education – Best private High School and University, Business School, Projects Y, G, V and R


GOAL 5: Gender Equality – Project G empowering Girls, half of all NGO leadership and management roles held by each gender, Girls Affairs Managers


GOAL 6: Clean Water and Sanitation – Free water refill stations


GOAL 7: Affordable and Clean Energy – Working on this one by sourcing solar-powered small lights to give to 100 rural students


GOAL 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth – Projects Y, G, V and R all set-up to provide hands-on business education, skills and economic growth


GOAL 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure – NGO and Projects led by students; Projects provide solutions to social needs – business education, gender equality, plastic pollution


GOAL 10: Reduced Inequality – Diversity in our membership and contribution to other organisations and communities to lead by example


GOAL 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities – Education, health, plastic-free, Refill Not Landfill, gender equality, community service, social justice  


GOAL 12: Responsible Consumption and Production – No single-use plastic used by NGO students, refillable water bottles, reusable food containers, minimising food wastage


GOAL 13: Climate Action – Project R – Recycle plastic instead of burning or burying it


GOAL 14: Life Below Water – Project R – Recycle plastic to avoid contaminating waterways


GOAL 15: Life on Land – Community Service – Volunteering in rural communities to inspire about the value of education and earth-care – plants trees, rubbish collection and plastic recycling


GOAL 16: Peace and Justice Strong Institutions – Transparent corporate governance, leading by example, educating future leaders with formal education, business education and life-skills education


GOAL 17: Partnerships to achieve the Goal – Partnerships with educational institutions, Days For Girls International, Refill Not Landfill, Plastic Collective, corporate sponsors and donors
